This is the up to date list as I know it...

Vince M (2)
Jim I (2)
Will P (1)
Gerd K (2)
Markos (1)
Crate
David G (2)
Dennis C (2)
Erwin R (1)
Mary and Kirk(2)
Gabriel Q (2)
Larry Bull (2)
Roy M
Warren (2)
Roger S
Lee Ann L
Lester B (2)
Jennifer H (2)
Bill George
Scott M (spyder guy (1)

That's 20 cars and 32 SOC'ers

Motel info for those spending the night....
Days Inn Buellton
the phone number is 805 688-8448
114 E Highway 246 (at the 101)

Solvang is about 30-45 minutes past Santa Barbara off the 101,
but there are other ways to get there. Santa Barbara is about 2 hours from L.A....
I would recommend the coast (hiway 1) from the Topanga Ranch motel
as we do for Morro Bay and then on to Las Posas rd to the 101 to pick up any Valley cars,
101 to Santa Barbara and then Canyons around Solvang....
I don't think we should leave later than 10:00 from Topanga location so lets say we meet at the motel
at 9:45....Jim can gather the O.C. cars and meet me at the Starbucks corner Artesia/Hawthorne S/E corner
8:45-9:00

A decision can be made prior to leaving the Topanga Ranch Motel as to which route to take in Santa Barbara,
keeping in mind the construction on the 154....

I will be holding a Poker Run in conjunction with the days activities, and giving cards out at various locations
winner to be decided at last winery of the day...there will be a boy prize and a girl prize, that I will supply,
if you wish to bring a prize you may do so, and winners can pick from the pile....

Lunch is planned once we arrive in Solvang, but a location has not been decided at this time. I think it would
be nice to find a place that can seat us all, but that may not be possible, any suggestions will be appreciated.
I think there was a place near the 101 freeway at the Solvang exit that could handle us, but my mamory is trashed
as to it's name... Maybe it's the Hitching Post that LeeAnn mentioned, Perhaps if someone will be there Friday,
they can find a suitable lunch spot..or Dinner for that matter.
So I guess I'm saying the lunch/Dinner issue has not been resolved at this time....A.J. Spurs was also recommended and may be a good dinner spot.....

No body has recommended any wineries, so I plan on looking at a map and choosing three that I am fimiliar with, one that has a tour that we may take...right now I am thinking Fess Parker and Firestone as two of the ones that are up-scale...

Please chime in with any thoughts, this run is for all of us, not just me......

The plan sounds great. We will see everyone at lunch time on Saturday, really looking forward to seeing our gang again. The two wineries that you have in mind sound great, I don't believe I have been to either. I will look online for some lunch places, hopefully one of us can come up with something.
South County SOC Group - If you wish to caravan to Malibu Beach/Topanga Inn to meet the North County SOC group please meet at:

I will plan on leaving the Starbuck's location at 9:00 with whomever shows up there....405N to the 10W to Hiway 1N (PCH) and on to the Topanga Ranch Motel....For those coming from the East 10W is your best bet....
If anyone can find out about the construction on the 154 it would be appreciated.....it would be a better route than the 101 for that stretch....
Jim, I think A.J. Spurs is a good choice for dinner.....I will have Teri call and see availability.....
Please post your name if you plan on staying for dinner, so I can get a head count....
Mary- we are actually going up Friday and staying friday night, my daughter has her once a year Arthritis Walk on Sunday morning. We will be with you all day on saturday.

Vince, Darrin and I are in for lunch on SATURDAY (and wineries), also if dinner is early on SATURDAY night we will join for dinner. Saturday is our 22nd wedding anniversary!!
OK, Teri made reservations at AJ Spurs for Saturday night at 5:30..
AJ Spurs is located at 350E hwy 246 Buelton Ca. 805 686-1655
We have reservations for 25...I originally counted about 31 but with a few dropping out and some not planning on staying for dinner, we will most likely not have 25....at least we have a place to rest after all the drinking and driving.....
I hope there aren't any MADD members monitoring this site

I'm in, if some of you lightweights are going to bale, now is the time, if you were planning on spending the night so you can cancel your reservation at no penalty....
If I get to many cancelations, I will plan on re-schedule the run..
