Kevin, as always, your work is beautiful. I like the look of aluminum anyway, but the details you've added to this car are your usual great work.
Did the car begin as an unrestored hulk or a complete car that needed a lot of work? Are you adding all of these pieces to a car that was cut on to make this possible? It looks like you've redone a few internal structural members, like the footwell and engine compartment walls. How much else did you change?
I (obviously?) would love to see what she looks like when you're done!
Here is how we got it.... oh and some more durring pics...

Thanks for all the kind words guys.... I love what I do for a living...

Cory, I'll post some more detailed pictures soon. But to answer your questions in sort:
the car was a body off painted car, but the guy lost his job and needed the money.

As for cutting: Cutting is light is a few places except where the Mendeola 5 speed goes. Otherwise if you were going to run a type one box there would be just slight body mods to get everything to fit. As for the other mods you asked about. Most everything is more for the full custom look. I'm going for a old speedway/ salt flat look for the car.

Lan and Drclock,
The pedals took a little time building. For me to make another set they would cost around $500 to do. Not cheap, but way over the top.

Robert,
It is totaly doable. I can get the wheels for around $450 for everything in 14 or 15 inch sizes.
