I have to admit that I often think about a new IM. Once you've owned one of these cars they always stay close to your heart. I had a ride in a 2005 Boxster, around a race track, and it's twice the track car an IM will ever be, but there is more to owning an IM. It's hard to describe, but I'm sure all of you know what I'm referring to.
Ron-

Of course a Boxter is a superior track car- it's also a superior street car, and yet you do not yearn for one. In a day and age when corrosion resistant, 150+ h/p, weather tight roadsters with good cooling and real heat are available in every dealership- who would want a leaky, rear-engined, air cooled dinosaur of questionable longevity and reliability?

Me, and obviously, you. You sold your car a year ago- and yet, here you are. You can't get away. The siren song of these cars is calling out to you. Resistance is futile.

Do it. Call Henry, and order the car. There is no logical reason to own a replica- no functional argument can be made. But you'll never be satisfied until you do.
