Hey Bruce, I'm finding that vinyl and static cling are indeed two different animals. One supplier/graphics comapny was telling me the vinyl is no problem to remove, no surface damage, etc, but you can't reuse the decal.

They didn't have a static cling offering, but do have a 'vinyl light' product and she was shipping me a sample. It was supposed to have good stick, but easily removed and perhaps with care, could be re-used.

The folks that advertise they do static cling are not very responsive I'm finding. I am open to suggestions.

..a puke green dinosaur? I love it!
You know when I got my car it had one of those old 'girlie' decals in the lower right windshield. She was fully clad in a little western cowgirl outfit, but very buxom. I sort of miss her!

Truck stops, the ones with the big parking lot full of big trucks, has a diner and store usually with locker rooms and showers, have really cool merchandise.
Mudflap girl acessories, Chrome, stars, hubcaps, lug nut covers, CB radios, cheap tools, cheap clothes, cheap CD's, lots of Truck Driver necessities are alway available in the store.
In the resturaunt, the food is usually heavy and plentiful. Breakfast is always served with eggs, bacon and pancackes, no matter what else you order.
My kind of place! When on long Harley road trips we make it a point to stop at a few!

Greg,

Yeah, truck stops are definatly a piece of Americana. One of my favorite all time truck stops is the Dixie Truck Stop between Chicago and Springfield, Il. It is in McLean, Illinois. It was up and running when I used to drive that route in the 50's on my way to school. It was on Rt 66, now known as I-55. Last time I was in there they had a Rt. 66 museum with photo's and artifacts from the olden days. A must stop for you road junkies, food ain't too bad either. And by the way, I am sure they can sell you some chrome girlie mud flaps!
