When I make a left turn, something in the front end squeaks and it feels like the wheel is binding up. It almost feels like the brakes are on. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks a lot-

PARK IT ! AND RELPLACE THE FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS . Before you get hurt! I had a 68 beetle do that, pulled it in the shop and did a look see and got a real scare. It gave me the he be gee bees.
Take a peak and look for contact
Check to if left tire isn't rubbing against fender. If is you'll easily see the marks.

Ah , Alan may be right . a caliper would also do that
