If anyone is interested and wants to get a jump on it before it goes on eBay, I will soon have a Vintage outlaw for sale.  Almost identical to my slate grey outlaw that I sold a few months ago except it is black with tan.  Bee hives, louvers, 2110 motor, buckets, halon fire suppression, Nardi or banjo, brand new paint, only about 4,200 miles since built.

This car will go on eBay with a fixed price of $31,000.  I am open to working with a buyer if there are any additional touches they would like.

No pictures or video to post right now, but I promise this will be a sweet, sweet, stunner of an Outlaw.

Act now if you are interested.

Hello Troy. Is this car going for sale anytime soon or is it sold already?  I will contact you for further tips. Still on the market for my first speedster as I am a Newbie want to be well documented before making a move.  Still torn between SAS custom or VS so any help and advise would be great.  I also don't really want to wait 3 years for a car so very open to pre-owned.  Let's see your car!   Thank you.

Lol @ SAS.

It really boils down to one thing, do you want to actually receive a car and drive it?  If you want a car you can drive and enjoy be sure to educate yourself about the reputation of the various builders.

Troy is a good source of information. He is a long term hobbyists who has proven that he knows how to refurbish a  Vintage speedster  two.

Best of luck with your search, Julio.

Ted

If I had to compare wanting an SAS (or even a pre-owned SAS) or a VS from Troy to something remotely close, I'd say fill up a bus with kids who got a pony for Christmas and another bus with kids that didn't and see which one fills up first.

In that metaphor the pony represents SAS cars that have been built and it also represents the number that come up on the used market. As you can see that bus is still waiting to get filled up even once. The other bus has been filled, departed, fill again, departed, and etc, etc, etc.

See for yourself what's going on.

SAS v VS

Ummm I'm new here, are we talking  shoes?    because I would go with Vans (VS) all day every day.. I have been wearing them since I was twelve.........For the non math geniuses  52-12= 40 years..   I currently own over 30 pairs

SAS just don't have the coolness!!!

( please review the movie, "fast times at Ridgemont High")

Looking good. Who makes the carpet kit / which kit is that? My carpet is tatty. I've been considering ordering a 'pan based kit' from IM.  I have been chatting with them. They have the patterns still. Should work. Just kind of pricy.

Let me know,

Ted

P.s. Robert, why are you looking up Troys Kilt? You investigators are all perverts.
