How come I have swing axle system? Is this because VS has only produces swing axle Speedies, regardless of the pan year?
Very recently, I have realized that Ol' Ern needs to start lookin' at a camber compensator for my rig. Consequently, the time has come to get to the bottom of this puzzle. Any help out there VS'ers?

Ernie, VS's base build is a swingaxle transaxle; you need to pay extra for IRS. Even though your chassis is an IRS from 1974 (and equipped to receive an IRS transaxle) it'll come with a swingaxle if the option of IRS isn't specified at the time the order was placed.

My car is also a VS and I got an EMPI camber compensator and installed it myself in just a few minutes. I also installed a heavy duty 19mm (3/4") front sway bar from Bugpack (my car came with NO sway bar from the VS shop). Those two items do make a noticeable improvement in handling, aren't expensive and can be installed by you in an afternoon.
