I can't seem to find them anywhere. The CMC manual says to make them out of rubber mat but I'm not sure of how I'd go about doing that. I could of course just cut a piece out and glue it in place but that's not really what I'm looking for

My 2015 Vintage Speedster used pieces of carpeting cut out from the trunk liner material.
I think some people have used late Beetle bumper bracket grommets- you might have to buy 2 pairs and offset cut them to cover the movement of the bracket.
Well, I thought there would be some spiffy solution in the Fiberfab build manual (under section IV) but they show an elongated "seal" and all it says next to in in the illustration is "Rubber Grommet".
The problem is, you have to remove the hood in order to install the grommets.
Someone at Carlisle had used some brush-like material like GM used to use on center consoles to close off the area around the stick shift to make it look nice. I don't know where he got it, but it looked nice. Others have used rubber stair tread material with a slot cut into it and glued onto the firewall. Others have used carpeting on the firewall and just cut a slot into it for the hinge to pass through.
Me? I just left mine open. I was happy enough just to have the frunk painted the same color as the car!
