Last year a bunch of us went on the first Southern Oregon Tour, SOT. It was the first weekend in October and the weather was perfect for touring. On Friday we gathered at the Riverside Inn in Grants Pass and had some refreshments, went to a nice Mexican resturant. Saturday we went on a tour of the Applegate valley, stopped at the Valley View winery and then on to Jacksonville for lunch and a shopping possibility for the gals. Jacksonville is an old restored gold mining town, quaint I think is the word. We drove back to Grants Pass for dinner and music at the "Happy Clam" in GP.
Sunday, most of us kept the tops down and drove up th Crater Lake N.P.
for lunch and rubber necking, great time.
A few of us have expressed interest in doing something like that again
so if the late September, early October time frame looks good for you let me know if enough of you are interested and maybe we can continue the tradition.
Fire back a response, yea or nay, to see if we have enough to warrent
having another one.
