does anyone know where i can find a spare tire that will fit in the front trunk? Ive seen original pics of the 356 and they have it in the front but thats where my battery is ....any suggestions.............Roger

Do a search on spare tires and you will find all the information that you want. Many of us have added spares. Some say not necessary just carry a cell phone and a AAA card. I get in too many places without a signal for my phone so carry the spare like "belt and suspenders". One big benefit of the spare is that it along with a jack add some weight to the front and make the car handle better. I'll try to remember tonight to take a pic and post it.

one way to go is using a compact spare as shown in the picture of the trunk of my SAW Cabriolet. Also, I did a writeup which is posted in the knowledge section pertaining to my solution for the VS Speedster that I used to own. Where there is a will, there is a way.
