I have bought a CMC body but do not have it in my hot hands yet. Have just bought wheels to include in my sea shipment and wonder about spare tire size. It would be best to buy this now as 5 x 130 wheels will be very difficult to find in Thailand and cost a bomb.

Will a 17" wheel wearing a 205/40 or 45 tire fit? This is about 25" OD and similar to a 15" x 60 series
If not, presumably one of those tiny 17 inch temp spares will?

I have a steel 5.5 in. Porsche Steel wheel with a 135/15 tire mounted on it for a spare. It (barely) fits in the trunk. It has to be in exactly the right place or the hood hits it.
My Speedster has Porsche alloys, 5 bolt x 130 mm bolt pattern, so that's the smallest wheel I could find without going to the expense of a Porsche 911 spare which, I belive has a collapsible tire.
Before the Porsche wheels, I had a 4.5 in. 4 bolt VW wheel with the 135/15 tire. This narrower wheel makes it easier to fit in the trunk.
