Until you have your carbs/fuel injection dialed in, and compatible with timing, and other variables....Stick with the copper core plugs...When you have EVERYTHING dialed in and the copper plugs give you the "cafe au lait" colored OK...Spring for the Platinum parts.....They can run a little longer between changes....I've gone back to Nippon Denso......

Running a high voltage coil (60,000 volts) so I run the gaps at .052"
Your plug type and gap may vary, depending on engine, ir/fuel mix, etc.
I've had great luck with Platinum plugs and would never go back to "regular" plugs.

does splitfire have suitable platinum spark plugs both for the stock 1600 cc and a 1776 cc with magnum 44 heads?? does anyone know the serial numbers for them? any numbers for ngk plugs???
