After a year of negotiations with the PO I bought this unassembled CMC still on a pallet in Brooklyn NY. It took four Jamacians and a $20 bucks later to get them to carry it out through a 6' wide alley and onto my car trailer.
Now has fresh chassis components, 1915cc w/ Engel 120 cam and dual Kadrons 356 oil canister, polished generator, onxy black urethane w/ Alante cream interior. Banjo wheel, VS luggage rack, VS special exhaust, Mangles, nipple caps, badgeing etc. Headed to eBay. ~Alan

Alan...I'm inpressed, you did a great job on that tub, hope you get your just due financially....
I agree with Vince, and wish you well with it.
But......That's a LOT of snow in the background.
I'm just as glad I'm down here out of the show belt.

That's a beauty! Very nice Alan. Do you think you could get a little better price for it if you waited until spring to put it up on eBay?
I have a potential buyer, should that fall through, will do an eBay ad leaning toward the international buyers (they seem to still have funds available)
Wow! You do nice work!
Outstanding Alan.....
Alan, if I weren't a lazy-assed, no-money-havin', ink-stained wretch I'd buy that car 'fore you could list it. You're a talent.
Alan, outstanding job, love the color combination. Is that a stock shifter? Dave
Doppelganger! Deja Vu! Strangely familiar. Put up some side by sides!
Great build.
Great build.
Stock shifter comes bent from Vintage Speedsters for about $15.00
They don't call him Merklin The Magician for nothing. WOW!! Talk about a resurection, as I recall the pics of the hulk being loaded in Brooklyn and in the garage waiting for attention. It is amazing what a little really good paint can do, but seriously folks, this is so much more than just good paint. The color combo is perfect, the banjo wheel goes just right -- even the painted brake and clutch levers -- such a job. Alan: Don't ya wanna keep it??
And I'd like to know about those seats: what are they? they look very comfy. Would they fit in a JPS?
And PS: have you sent these pics to the guy you bought it from?? I'm betting he would not belive it.
And where is paintitblack angela and steve? I know they will approve the color

Don't ya wanna keep it?.....Ha! ...You know me better than that ~ However I have "undisclosed plans" for my actual ownership.
....From Vintage same price as the speedster seat, yes they will fit a JPS.
Have you sent these pics to the guy you bought it from?? I'm betting he would not belive it.....Thanks for reminding me to do that.

Mickey,
What you need is an IM-6.......best of both worlds! Will you make it to Carlisle with Cory?
Oh yeah.......nice looking car Alan!

Dave,
Thats crazy talk!! Don't get me thinking anymore than I already do. I'm almost done with all the "go" stuff on my 911 and I'm now entering the "pretty" stuff. I keep kicking around the "backdate" idea (after all, I started out looking for a 912) because I just love the long hood look.
An IM6 would be soooooooo nice, maybe someday :)
And yes, I always do my best to make it to Carlisle for at least a day and I plan to be there this year too. It's just in my business things are pretty unpredictible. And the fact that we're in the planning stages for an early spring - late summer major renovation on one of our places pretty much assures me that my trip to Carlisle will be only an afternoon again this year.
