Speedometer replacement...................

Is there a replacement spedo for my Vintage Speedster kilometer style that will match the other gauges in color, size, etc.?

Previous post should have included, a spedo replacement in MPH instead of Kilometers.

I do know that the VDO set that comes on a VS is specially made as a unit for Kirk in Brazil to look exactly like the original Speedster. I looked all over for other guages (oil temp and pressure) to match it but didn't have much luck.

The Brazilian VDO replica guages are used by just about everybody including VS, JPS, and IM. Any of those builders should be able to provide a mph version; I ordered my IM with the mph version.

I figured as much. As far as adding guages under the dash, I ended up removing the AC (thank god!), moving the stereo over to the right, and mounting small VDO Industrial Chrome series oil pressure and temp guages with displays in both English and metric that I found at eguages.com:

I like the accuracy of the seperate VDO temp guage. It turns out my stock 1776 was running WAY high and the dash unit never rose high enough to make me realize it. Now with the 2176 and the cooling measures that were taken, the dash one barely rises when the temperature is at 200 degrees.

Kirk at Vintage sells speedos in MPH, I bought one not long ago. North hollywood speedo sells temp and press. guages that match the brazilian guages very close. Palo Alto Speedo also sells matching guages.
