Greetings all,

As most of you know, the Speedster will turn 50 in 2004 and there will be a big event In California to honor the American Roadster, Speedster and Convertible D. The event goodie store was just opened so if you want to buy some Speedster related goodies check out the website;
www.speedster50thanniversary.com/catalog/

No affiliation but I thought some might be interested. I like that grille badge.

I hope I am not mis-speaking but I was following a thread on the 356 registry discussion list and the entry fee for the 50th aniversery was $400. To get a ticket to "walk around" was about $75. That is a recollected guess. John Leader, Rich Downing and myself had a very nice time at SpeedsterFest last September and I plan on participating this September. The "replica" at a Porsche show can be well appreciated and scorned depending on mind-set pf the person. The SpeedsterFest was pretty nice. I'd recommend it if you are in the area. The web site for the event is www.germanautofest.com/index.htm
