Just returned from Pebble Beach. More than 500 Speedsters, Vintage & New Porsches, a restored Porsche tractor, and 2 (mine and one other, although I couldn't locate it) replicas were on display. It was rumored the NEW Carrera GT would make an appearance from San Francisco but sadly (from my point of view) it didn't happen.

The whole event was awesome. EVERYONE I met and spoke with said the event EXCEEDED their expectations BIG TIME. To view the first 3 SPEEDSTERS ever built, side by side, was special. Oh they're owned by the same guy! priceless...but for everything else there's mastercard.

The promoter had a film production company filming for a documentary. There will be a documentary dvd some day they said. Now I'm NOT being paid to say this...I'll buy it in a second, those guys filmed every car and interviewed many many owners.

Hey Chuck!

I was there too, in fact that's me with the black hat in the 550 pic. We were there with our 59 D.

BTW: That 550 is a Thunder Ranch replica. Home built here in Phoenix by Jason Young, then sold to the new owner when Jason got shipped out for overseas duty. During our quick chat, I found out the new owner races it a lot up in Nor Cal.

I have a few pics posted at www.pbase.com/photoaaron I'll have more posted later this week.

Chuck we were in Monterey as well, I don't know how we missed each other, I thought I had looked at every car there. We were in our red JPS speedster at every event. I haven't processed our film yet I'll try to post some pictures later. If anyone asks the weekend was well worth the cost and I will be attending the 100th.
