INTERESTING CAR....

I think it could meet the Green Car award
1987 VW - so it's on the pan of a MX beetle? Wonder what the fascination with "factory" is? Factory banjo steering whee, factory chrome wheels, factory paint - I mean where would this stuff come from if it was some factory.
That's been for sale forever or maybe I'm thinking about the same color electric one.
I don't mind the green at all but you'd have to be sure you love it a year or two from now. I bet you could get that for 15K and drop a larger engine in it and have fun.

AGREE...15K a good price and BYE-BYE 1600..HELLO 2332
GOOD IDEA you got there....probably will not sell for much more than 15K??
What kind of engineer? Seems it's important to them to call that out without qualifying it.
Their are some awfully nice cars built by non-engineers.
This one has been for sale for a while. It comes and goes.
It was built on a 87 junker from Mexico? Than VIN cannot be registered in the US. Might be why there are no plates on the car and why the price is low.

Probably a stationary engineer.... he was stationed in that garage for a long time building the car.
