It starts every time with just a turn of the key or the starter switch, the dual glasspak exhaust system sounds amazing.
4 speed manual 4:12 transmission (perfect for cruising the highways and powering through the turns
Chrome rims w/ nipple caps porsche emblems and tires have plenty of tread life left.
Disk brakes in front, drum in the rear

Marchal 7" lamps and covers
Aluminum pedals
Porsche chrome horn grills, hood handle to replace cheap ones that came with the car.

Gabe - as long as you are in contact with DrClock (Alan) you should ask him what his take would be on pricing for your car that would make it more appealing to the potential buyer. He built and sold 24 or so Speedsters and his input might be helpful for you.

Already pm Alan and his advise is great. Really hate to sell the speedy, but am in need of a truck for handyman work and recreational use. If I can find a way to trade my 2002 Lexus GS430 for a truck then that would be awesome. That is the Lexus in the background.

Gabe - you might have better luck with a trade plus keep your Speedy! Just list it as "Want to trade Lexus 4 truck" and see what happens. It wouldn't hurt to ask!

Russ, choose your shipper wisely. Ask me how I know. There are several folks here with a lot of helpful info. on different shippers. Good luck

Be aware that when you do a search for auto transporters, most of what you will see are brokers. They give you a price and then they post your car on the national boards and if it fits into a drivers schedule and he is going to make enough money, he will contact the broker and pick-up the job. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but just be aware that you are not actually selecting the trucking company.

My experience with trying to work directly with the transporter is that it was difficult to find one, especially for a long distance transport. Much easier for a short haul in your own area.

This is how it works, right Alan?

I have a 1776 with dual Kadron's (same?) and 3.88 gears. It has plenty of power. It is not the fastest car out there but it pulls fine going up steep grades etc, and sounds like a monster. I'm gonna beat it until it breaks then possibly go a bit bigger/badder. For now I'm loving it.

Hey guys be sure that what ever Carrier you go with can produce a current certificate of insurance .

If you even have a need to check ratings etc. on a potential Carrier I'll be glad to do this.
