Speedster for Sale

Green light for another build.. I just told my wife the other night, that if I ever say I want to do another full build, to shoot me!  Good luck.  I'm just finishing up my Spyder build.  Thinking of a building a coupe next (think I just heard a round chambered)

I have a really cool wife.  Its either this or alcohol...and she would rather do this

Hmmm...  I wonder if I could get anywhere using that with my wife.

If you knew me 6 and a half years ago, you would understand why this is better than alcohol!

Can you send more pictures with top up and more snapshots of the motor in car and more just all around pictures I have been looking for a speedster just do not know if I am sold on the color.  You can send to my email address if you want.

Yeah my wife has been great...two speedsters, a boxster and she said...I know you want the spyder and you have been talking about it for years so sell speedy and do it...just get a big ass motor!  I think the 1915 is plenty but who am I to argue!  She loves speed!  

I drove Danny Piperato's car at Carlisle this year and fell in love with the power.  Not sure what he has in it (chime in here, Danny), but it is crazy fast and very well balanced.  I'm pretty sure it's bigger than a 1915 and it was built by Jake Raby.  I seem to remember Danny saying it was around 180 hp but I could be hallucinating.  Hey, it's happened before.

Lane- I believe the motor in Danny's spyder is a 2165 and revs to about 6500rpm with power. Al

I watched that video of him going around in circles on thatrack a at Carlisle and that car scoots realllllll good.  Man and with that many miles and no issues as well!

Couple years ago at Carlisle I was in Lenny C's Spyder (a T4 engine if I recall) - We followed Danny to the Rolls Royce Museum - til we lost him.  Yup - quite speedy.

You mean until he lost you.

Definitely go with the big ass motor.  I have a Raby Type IV 2316.  I think that should just be about right

Yep!  Car is doing great, looks fantastic, etc.  1500 miles on the clock and it is as new, only better now

1500 miles always seems to be the magic number for parting ways with a tub.

This is my second tub and the first had about 4,000 on it.  My wife said get a spyder so that is just what I will do.  I hope someone on the soc buys. would love to watch this one over the years...

Where is the car located? I see it has CA plates??

I'm a newbee to the SOC and I'm on the lookout for my first reproduction Speedster.  I'm in NVA and could possibly do a road trip to check it out.
