I have heard that a dealer in Richardson, Texas (or Buckingham, TX) has a black Speedster with a Jake Raby engine for sale. I'm having trouble tracking it down. Does anyone know how I can locate the car that's for sale?
Thanks,
Bob Templeton

This might be the one?
Hi Bob.
If you like that car, you'll probably like mine even more. Mine is a Vintage built Black and Camel interior Speedster with a 1915cc motor and a Freeway Flyer transmission with only 11,300 miles for $26,500. Here's the link, but I'm not sure why you would be interested since you already own a Beck Speedster and a JPS Suby coupe.
Geez
BOB TEMPLETON I'll encourage you take a good look at Troy's Speedster , you won't be disappointed !
Thanks, Troy. It sounds like a great car, but I also have a Suby Speedster. I bought Devin Silberfein's Speedster. The reason I'm interested in the one in Texas is that I'd like to get a car that has one of Jake Raby's motors and put in in another car I have.
Is the Suby Speedster the Beck that you mentioned in another post? Have talked with Pat Downs? I would highly recommend it.
Troy;
I bought Devin Silberfein's blue JPS Suby Speedster a few weels ago. My Beck Speedster is an older one with a 2276 cc. VW motor, silver/red. Shortly after I bought Devin's car, a gray Suby coupe popped up in Texas, so I bought that one also. My wife is questioning my sanity, and it seems like she is justified in doing so.
Regards,
Bob Templeton
Bob, there are very few of us on this site whose wives don't question our sanity. It's part of the burden we carry.
Besides, we don't say "Welcome to the Madness!" for nothing.
@Bob Templeton any pictures of those cars?

I afraid I only have one like to give ....
My wife encourages my madness. She has a lot of expensive hobbies that she does not want scrutinized.
