o ya, and i am selling it to fund my possible move to MAUI!!!! O ya hawaii, I am tired of RAIN AND COLD!!!!

this car is tight, well maintained and way too nice for me, I am use to old beat up vw buses. This car sits in the garage, I am the 3rd owner, A doctor had it, then a VW guy, then me anouther vw guy
Front Drum to disc can be as simple/cheap as getting Karmann Ghia spindles/rotors/calipers from a junk yard for $50 (ok questionable that they will work after 35 years) to a Brazilian/MX/China kit for $350 - a 40 minute job perhaps. Rotors can be adapted to wide five for few $$ more. So this would not be a deciding factor ruling out a car - the T1 Bug was actually heavier than the replica Speedster so you could question if needed (I'm sure Speedster will be driven more agressively so mute point IMHO).

Has anyone made you any lo ball ridiculous offers??? If so how much? Any offers at all?

I once took $1k for a 944 worth $4-6; - because of circumstances beyond my control, and a female. Get the picture?

I was glad to be rid of the 944 and get the money and well.... I did it to myself.

Hope you are not in a mess like that.

BUT:

"Don't say you will never be poor, or in jail".

Thanks
Congrats Mickee

Nothing infuriates me like low-ball offers - I think for the most part people price their cars within reason, and what we're seeing now is more than the usual amount of lurkers expecting to take advantage and do a flip for a little profit, and trying to take advantage of unfortunate 'gotta sell now' situations.

As has been stated to me before, springtime and the upcoming shows/events should bring out the 'serious buyers' moreso than now, which is why I will hold off posting my Speedster till early April.
