Ye' who purchases a crated Street Beast's Speedster shall have their head examined as much patience and extensive fabrication skills are needed. There are are numerous design issues inclusive of a firewall that is not fiberglassed to the cowl, the foot well area that is too small, the VW Beetle frame horn section does not graft correctly into the Street Beasts mounts as well as the axle beam mount location is not correct, need to fabricate all cable tubes and the list is long. If (when did Street Beast's ala' CMC....ever do that ?)

Notice the pictures of the two finished cars? One is (please forgive me - I can't remember his name)'s car, while the other is neither a Street Beast nor even a Speedster. It's Rob Young's SAS cabriolet.
The blue one was Jerome Smith's Streetbeast. Probably one of the best & last SB kits that someone bought & actually finished. I think SB used his car in their ads for a while. Not sure if Jerome ever gave them permission.
Yes blue was Jerome's speedster and no, he was never compensated, it is now owned buy a guy in the Harrisburg PA area.

I guess I am also among the few who have actually completed a Street Beasts Speedster. Everything Allan says is correct and more. This kit is not for the faint of heart. I have always been a drinker, so a little more drinking was not a big deal. While you are glassing in the front fire wall, you should also cut out and move the kick panels outboard, and don't forget to drop the floor under the seats for head room. I would of attached some pictures, but I couldn't figure out how.

Sorry guys, guess I hit a sore spot.. anyway.. looks like its now off the site...I know Street Beast/CMC have been nasty to deal with I just figured some one on this side of the border would be able to join in the madness.. I guess trying to build a Street Beast is a whole different level of insanity.
