Speedster maker

I was doing a bit of research on producers/makers of speedster replicas and came across "Automotive Legends", can anybody give an opinion on thier product and service?

AL is a frequently discussed company here. They are neither a producer nor maker but rather a reseller. Deal directly with the manufacturer and get yourself a better deal all the way around.

I've heard he's in Ohio trying his hand at making electric cars & employing 6,000 people to build them. Maybe just a rumour, but the person I talked to was pretty sure of his info. Guess he's been all over the news there promising jobs for lots of people.

Wil started a company in Indiana called EMC (think it is Electric Motors Corporation). They are about 45 miles from me, and they have promised 6000+ jobs, etc... A lot of this was based on them getting a chuck of the money Obama gave to IN for electric car development, however when he announced the names of the companies to get help, EMC was not on the list. You can Google them and read all about it. There are even a few stories about spyders and speedster trying to be mixed in with all this. Pretty funny to see cars built by Kirk or myself and then listen to the "manufacturer" stories. It amazes me that these reporters must do NO homework on the subject before producing a story!

Not only that Carey - the reporters do that every night of the week on every subject out there. And people who read this stuff or hear it on the radio thnk it's all factual. there is a difference between reporting news and making news. It's gettin' real scary folks.
