Finally received the Carrera Speedster model that I ordered back in February of 2011. However it is in 1/43rd scale and not 1/18th. This is the iconic Bruce Jennings (King Carrera) with which he waged some serious battles with Don Yenko, here on the east coast. Expensive model, but the centerpiece of my die cast collection of Speedster models. Note the level of detail, including the PCA sticker and the Reisentoter PCA region sticker.

I thought the time frame to make a sas was ridiculous but this really trumps that based on its size

Let's see, if 1/43 scale took 16 months, then using Einstein's theory of size and matter, a full sized car should take just over 57 years to complete. Makes SAS's delivery time look very good.
