I have a 001 356 model. in beige a red 356a speedster and a green 356b . a few bugs and a remote controled herbie all are mint still in the boxes. I've been colectiing for a long time. I even have a red 49 MGTC one of my favorite models
I prefer 1/18 scale .My plain is to put a single line of selves all the way around the room way up high
I also have A blue Tucker ,a burgendy Pearce Arrow , a few cadilacs RollsRoyces, A Cord 3 Dezuenbergs the Bond Alstin Martin .the Munsters Coach a 49 ford convert, a batmobile 1966 version
2 packards.A red Desoto 2 Nash and a 35 Kiaser Overland. just to name a few.. all still in their boxes.
I rode in a 1956 belvedere to church on sunday's when i was very little it was a nice car and still hard to beat today. Very classey i use to remenber his dad fussing about the tail pipes being chauky some saterday mornings. It had the factory duel carb setup like the Furies. You know how kid would do on friday nights.

I have some photo's of my dad and me and my brothers when we were little in front of some of the cars he owned and we rode in incudling the neibors 56 belevedere. i have blown up and printed most of them for my model display.
Richard Lions a Builder of old cars had a 33 packard golf club convertable I got to set in i was 12 . Beige body and coffie/tan fenders. It's one of my favorite memories. a beautiful car. wish i had a picture of that day Itt was a keeper.

Back atcha Barry, I remember sitting in a real Cord 810 convertible at a classic car show when I was about ten years old. That was a memory for me. Today you can't even touch the tires when they show those cars.
