Gauge verbiage is not right - says vintage style VDO gauges and it clearly has the imported CMC Vintage gauges --- not the black/green ones you would expect.

Agreed. I think they were the same ones I got with my Streetbeast kit. Makes me wonder is it's actually an IM build.

I'm curious about the wipers pointing in opposite directions.

I didn't necessarily think the wipers were half-arsed. I haven't decided it I like them that way or not.

I wondered how to do the with a VW wiper system.

They may not work at all. Perhaps they're just there for appearances.

This tub is all screwy... even the back license plate is a shine down and should be up withj the tear drop lights in the rear. The suicide handle is way to far in on the passenger side to...

I'd perfer a true VS myself.. what a minute.. I do own a true VS. OMFG i was worried for a second.. LOL

I wonder if he had issues with his tonneau blowing off??? holy fasteners batman.

The gauges are laid out identical to my CMC. Which leads me to a question, can you get those gauges anywhere? We are having a problem with our tach. I assume I will have to ship it out and have it rebuilt so I can keep the same look.

The fasteners are rediculous. Wow! Engine setup is the same as mine as well with exception to the ugly iron looking linkage. :-) Just my humble opinion.

The number of fasteners around the dash seems to be the same as directed in the CMC manual. I wouldn't have used the big twist type.

As a good boy following directions I did install that many snaps which I later replaced with Tenax fasteners.

I don't think Henry would put the tail light lenses on the wrong sides and upside-down, or the grab handle in the middle of the passenger's side dash, either.
That's obviously an at-home, garage-built car. Caveat emptor, huh?

Why would you ever install an instrument that says " reproduction "?
