Speedster Owner's Emblem

Has anyone ever tried to see about an emblem for Speedster Owners? Possibly canvass the membership to see how many would buy such an emblem?

Jack, it's been done twice before and there are many happy owners. If enough interest is expressed, I suspect it could happen again. Check out the badge on the lower right of the first picture, the infamous "corpse badge."

I wonder why no one has made a replica corpse badge yet, it would be so fitting.

If I can get the art work for a badge of preference, and it was OK with Theron, I can order them, take the payment and send them to SOC members. Proceeds would go to Theron to keep your site active

I agree it is time for a new badge design. I am really not interested in reissuing the old badges. They have become collectors items for many and fetch a decent price. I will start plans for a new design as soon as this years calendars are done.

I vote for that design as being the next badge that Theron has made.

As Stephan suggested, I guess a pseudo-replica badge will have to work for me. The original corpse has become too "collectible", making it both difficult to find and expensive when found. I really want to thank Mike Cochrane for his post last June. One for the grille and one for a badge bar.

Theron says the old badges are collectors items and fetch a good price.

Anyone got a badge or two for sale?

the cars have become collector's items and a cottage industry for some. all designs for the badges seem to be 4.0. hope you guys come up with another "collectable" item that will reflect the current state of the '356' hobby

This is a good idea , when they were having rallies back in Germany all thoses years ago every town that the cars went through had a badge for each leg of the race and they did change from year to year as the cars evolved up untill 1964.

I have held onto one of my favorite drawing that was inspireed by a club member here. i did it in white with red and gold and in black with gold and red No wording I'd prefer to leave that up to Theron. and the club. but I do have one I personally like. I hope you agree to add the Speedster Owners trim just as the Corspe badge had In the black

I will wait untill the first of the year to post it and If the owner of it wants to in hance it futher thats fine. Its not mine and I cant take full credit for it. but I did tweek it a bit.
