I wasn't sure where to post this since it isn't an Event but I wanted to share the pics.

I just returned from a week long stay in Waikiki on Oahu and met up with Bokuri and Kawika for a cruise down Ala Moana, Kalakaua and Diamond Head! Talk about FUN!

Kawika's and Bokuri's rides are true outlaws -- each unique in their own way. I even got to cruise Waikiki from the driver's seat of Kawika's pearl black Speedie while Bokuri lead the way (and raced another car in the process)!

David & Ben - THANK YOU for making this mainlander feel welcome and taking some time out of your Sunday to show me around!

Actually, the air ride handled very well as did Kawika's black outlaw. Both cars drive strong and tight and were of course, tricked out in their own way. Custom suspensions, engines, interior work, etc.

Kawika's ride had a Centerforce clutch and locking shifter, pearlescent paint that shined a hue of dark red when the sun hit it just right and of course AC for the hot Hawaiian sun.

Bokuri's ride was outfitted with a turbo, the air ride suspension and all kinds of other custom touches like the Mercedes headlights, 3rd brake light, engine grille, etc all with custom fiberglass work to accomodate it all -- done by Bokuri himself (including the paint).

Adrian Eustaquio,

It was my pleasure meeting you and your Family! Thank you for posting the cool pictures of our short Hawaiian Cruise! You should feel honored, I rarely ever let anybody drive my Speedster unless they are a Sexy Hawaiian Ladies!

Now I am looking for donations to FedEx my Speedster from Hawaii to Californa in June 2008 to attend the VW Classic! Any Speedster Owners want to donate???

Take Care & Aloha, Kawika

Super nice meeting you Adrian. Not too many speedster on this little island. Nice to see another enthusiast. I hope you enjoyed your stay on Oahu.
Hey David, we should do that more often. Your car is a looker. Its so cool, as I was following you, I took notice of all the pedestrians turning their heads to look at your car.

I bet it's kinda like having a hot girlfriend walk into a trendy club ahead of you and watching all the guys get whiplash as she walks past them. AND, she's going home with you!
