Hello Steve,
I was in the process of purchasing a fiberfab non-flared speedster as a second car. I currently have a 1957 CMC flared speedster that is about 75% complete.
Car Details:
1955 speedster w/precut pan
body,with doors,hood and trunk lid pre-hung
new wiring harness with fuseblock
complete interior w/conv top still in bag
windshield, steering wheel with hub
rollbar,headlights,taillights, mirrors,chrome, instruction manual ect.
The tail lights looked a little pitted from the pictures.
Welding for bumper mounts and body mounts are completed.
Pan cut to 11.81" with a 1600cc w/trans already mounted.
Holes for dash are cut already.
Holes for front and rear lights are cut already.
The Engine has not been run for 4 years???
There is rust on the pan but I am not sure how much yet.
I believe he told me it does have a registered VW title 1960s?
I am hoping to go to see the vehicle for purchase. He has sent me pictures already.
I might be able to let this one go only because I might not have enough room with my other car not finished?
I figured I would buy it anyway and maybe sell it in the future.
I was only searching because I also wanted a straight body type.
where are you located?
What are you looking to spend? maybe I can sell at a reasonable price.
