Those are like clip-on-ties for crap's sake.
They're the first things that get pulled and pitched when you bring a car home. WAY too "boy racer" for a real car. If you want good grip, use genuine 356 rubber pads,
if you want exceptional grip, drill and tap the metal pedal pad areas for screw-in golf shoe cleats.
