Speedster Replica Roof/Door Tops

Does anyone know where I can buy a pair of complete good quality door tops where the side curtain inserts into? I'd much rather prefer 'original' looking ones that work well(and pay more) rather than 'make-do' units. I will also eventually be considering replacing the roof frame..any suggestions where. My Speedster replica looks like a Vintage Speedster kit judging by some of the photos I've seen. Finally, would those original roof clamps from Stoddards that goes on the windscreen frames where the roof frame clips onto,work on our replica? I'm located in Melbourne/Australia by the way! This car is sooooooooo much fun to drive!!!!

Kyla, welcome to the madness. There are several people here on the SOC who have had custom work done to their doors and side curtains, any one of whom can steer you in a good direction. Be patient; they'll be here to answer your questions.

I made my door tops for the windows out of hardwood and stained. Matches the steering wheel and shifter knob. Looks awesome. What's wrong with the frame, why not just fix it? As for the clips, if you think it's a Vintage stick with Vintage you can get parts from their website.

Next time I'm down-undah having dinner on the riverwalk we'll need to see your speedy.
