Recently read couple articles on upcoming Detroit Auto Show and Porsche's intent to display there. They will apparently have 2 versions of a new proposed carbon fiber rich AWD V8 mid engine 918 Spyder. Hybid gets 78 mpg and goes 0-62 in 3.2 seconds! 500hp V8 and twin electric motors for another 218hp. Top speed 198 mph! A 4 mode selector switch let you go from Economy, Prius mode, on up the Full Race Hybrid. There is a 4.8L 600hp twin turbo regularly aspirite version too!
