Nope, not a factory build.  IIRC this was sent to Colorado as a kit, assembled by Boulder Speedster, and then converted to Subaru by Pro-Street Performance.

I don't know many other details since we didn't do it, but I was contact by a shop a few years ago that was working this car (or one exactly like it) and the engine/trans cradle was welded in with no way to remove it...  They needed to change the clutch or something and were going to have to cut the engine cradle out of the car to do so.

That said, it is a turn-key car for the price of a deluxe kit... leaves a lot of room to correct things for the right buyer.

5,900 miles and needs a clutch?  Something doesn't smell right here.  I wonder if there are other gremlins lurking in this build.  Chines is right, that it might be a good buy for the right person or perhaps a money pit.  I'm surprised that there was not more forethought about the engine cradle that would have to be cut out and replaced to get the engine out.
