I,ve just got my new speedster and the fuel tank has a screw in fuel cap that locks, It wont screw all the way down to seal as it hit a breather pipe soldered into the neck i realise it needs a breather but I will have to somehow cut away the bit of tube protruding into the neck to enable me to screw the cap in fully. I notice a 6mm pipe elbow coming of the sender unit at the top is this also a breather i,ve try blowing into it but doesn,t seem to be clear any advice guys.

sorted that, had to cut some off the cap length going into the tank.

Elbow at bottom originally had a brass screen sock filter on it. Its gas feed to engine.
