Speedster TLC

Hello to all,

I have a 1979 intermeccanica speedster and live in San Diego, recently purchased. Of course the car turns heads everywhere I go, but it's also almost 30 years old, so could certainly use a little bit of tlc. I tinker myself, but would just assume have someone else work on the car as my pleasure is in driving not fixing. Does anyone have any suggestions about getting work done on a car especially here in san diego? Or has anyone had a full overhaul (cosmetic/mechanical) of an existing speedster?
