My Speedster is 1.75 inches lower in the front then it is in the rear. This is measured from the "running board" to the ground at the back of the front wheel compared to the front of the back wheel.

I have never really cared for that look and wondered if I can raise The front?  Is there any harm in raising it, will it affect the alignment or something?

Was an original stock Speedster lower in front?

I know it's a matter of preference, but which do you think would look better, more even or lowered in front?

They may have just cut the top beam turned it and welded it to lower the front.  This is what the CMC manual says to do. If that is the case you will have to switch out the front end or weld in some adjusters (either way the front would have to come off). Take some pics of the front and someone here can tell you what you are in for.

Cole, it appears to be lower than a 2 1/2" drop spindle, so it may also have beam adjusters too. If so, easy to raise it:

"loosen the bolt (it should be facing forward) on the adjuster (there might be two centered on the beams. One per beam) rotate the thingamabob to the height you want and retighten the locking bolt"

...perTC...

There are spindles that have more than a 2 1/2" drop...but I've never heard of one on a speedster.

That's just my opinion. Everybody's entitled to my opinion.

^^ this

awesome.

too low - nah.  IMO these cars look sissy all jacked up.  you could easily drop the rear a notch (or two) on the torsion splines.  it'd be free and take ~ an afternoon.

If you lower the back - it will slightly raise the front.  Take a picture of the front H beam in center.  I believe VS uses a single welded in adjuster --- and normally no sway bar.  VS owners confirm.  Do NOT simply un-do the hex adjuster --- you need to have beam supported on jack stands to relieve weight.  Once it's loose you can slowly raise the front and retighten it. If it's adjusted all the way low you should be able to raise it a good inch.  Twin adjusters are better than a single one - as they use both sets of torsion springs.  A picture will also show if you have the correct anti-sway bar and if its mounted correctly.  It is possible to install it upside down so it sits 2" lower than the beam!  They also make a stock and a lowered sway bar.

I've seen the adjusting directions online some where - here's link to some help:

If you just cruise around town, slowly, sure, but if you do a lot of driving low is NOT the way to go.  My car is not low, but I've still managed to hit my Berg sump twice and give my merged header a really good hit.
