my buddy Skip has a machine shop out here in West Virginia and he was kind enough to let me fool around with his laser cutting table. I made these strap Anchors that bolt to the bottom shock bolt as you can see these are a little on the thick side. It was my first try at it, but I think I stumbled way to anchor down the street on the trailer.

I do like the steel tie-downs.

I use these 24" long tie-down straps looped over the rear axle and front trailing arms.

Both Tractor Supply and Harbor Freight have them on the shelf.
