speedster wanted

Im looking for an IM conv. D just in case any of you guys might have a lead on one. I was gonna call my ole buddy Alan Merkin, but as we all know he just finished his "LAST BUILD" ( ha,ha!...had to get a dig in ole buddy!) Tom - IM has a beautiful pre-owned, black-on-tan D listed on their website right now. I've seen this car in person and it's extremely nice.

Its nice...just a little pricey for me and I would like something closer to the east coast.

If you decide to buy a car from Henry, I will volunteer to fly out there and drive it back for you (you buy the ticket and gas, I give it a professional drive back home and get it there in one piece, no over-rev'ing).

There's a very nice white on red flared on eBay, I have seen... this speedster in person. Refurbished by that east coast builder "Merklin Motor Craft".
You do realize that this is #14 of 14 built... the last one will certainly become a collectable. Matter of fact,according to the currect seller - owner in NY, it has already doubled in value and available as Buy It Now for just $52k :)
