I live near Chico, California.........about 90 miles north of Sacramento. Where is the nearest event/get-together/etc. where I would be able to see Speedsters and Spyders in person, side-by-side?

There are quite a few SOC members in and around the Sacramento area! They will more than likely chime in shortly with some event info. Also, check events calendar on The Samba website. It would not be unusual for Speedster replicas to attend most of the VW gatherings.

Additionally, each summer the West Coast SOCers gather in San Luis Obispo for a weekend of cruising and shenanigans. Keep an eye on the "Events" thread on this site.
