I'm up near Worcester, MA and will be leading the Northeast Caravan to Carlisle through CT by way of Hartford, Southington and Danbury.  We'll be picking up folks from RI and various parts of CT along the way.  You're more than welcome to come along - we'll probably have 8 or so cars this year, plenty of tools and talent if things go wrong along the way.

Drove through a raging blizzard earlier today to check out the artwork for some Carlisle shirts.  Just my part to get us one step closer to show souvenirs...

Why a guy from Baltimore is dealing with a shirt printer near Boston for shirts for a show in Carlisle, PA escapes me.......it just is.

Yesterday I was sitting in 83 degrees at Disney World and loving it, today I'm driving through snow in New England on a quest for shirts.  Whattalife!

Saturday evening gala awards dinner is $37.00 per person.  Great food, door prizes, awards, and anniversary fun.  I'll post the details here again for everyoe who might have missed them before - menu, dates, location, my address, etc.:

SPEEDSTERS MEET SPYDERS SATURDAY EVENING GALA AWARDS DINNER

May 18, 2013 – Menu – Governors Ballroom – Radisson Hotel Harrisburg

Wear your Hawaiian shirt!!!

The Saturday evening Gala Awards dinner is always the finale of the weekend with awards, giveaways, presentations and more. We have found a super new location for the awards dinner – The Radisson Hotel Harrisburg – just 10 minutes from our host hotel. Not only is the food delicious but they have worked to give us the best price, best food and great facilities. We'll have a buffet menu and ask everyone for advanced payment. Awards will be presented for the longest distance driven and longest distance trailered for a Speedster, and longest distance in a Spyder, a Coupe and in an MG. Following are the details:

What’s on the menu?

Soups/salads:

Fresh Fruit Bowl

Mixed Garden Greens

Pasta Salad

Entrees:

New York Strip Tips

Mediterranean Tilapia

Citrus & Herb Roasted Chicken

Vegetables:

Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

(They serve only locally grown vegetables)

What is the deadlinefor payment? Friday,May 3, midnight

What if I need to cancel my reservation? If necessary, you will be able to cancel your reservation up until midnight, Friday May 10. After that date we will be committed to a headcount and not able to refund your money.

What if I decide to join you after the May 4 deadline? We cannot guarantee adding people after May 3 due to the room capacity and pre-ordering of food.

Is there a max headcount? We have plenty of room but there is a room capacity. Reservations will be on a ”first come, first served” basis, so please get your checks to me ASAP.

What is the schedule for Saturday evening? It’s only 10 minutes from the Marriott to the Radisson. Everyone should plan to arrive at the Radisson at 6:30 PM for a 30-minute social with dinner starting promptly at 7:00. The awards presentations and a 10^thAnniversary celebration will follow dinner.
