Actually, over the past ten years we've come up with some pretty good eateries to cruise to, and the food at the show field is extraordinarily good, too.  True, we always talk up the Carlisle High School Marching Band food booth, and they're pretty good, but there is Pennsylvania Dutch, Southern BBQ, Chinese food, all kinds of burgers, really decent Southern Fried Chicken and some of the best salads and pies I've ever had.  Puts most other shows really to shame.  And the Carlisle food isn't especially expensive, either.

But the RIDE to the Caddy Shack in a long line of pretty fast moving Speedsters, Spyders and Exceteras is really, really cool.........

Here's the latest list, still have a bunch on the fence...come on guys, tic toc:

My son Harry IV (age 6) have been looking forward to the show for months but now that we found you guys we are looking forward to it even more.

This will be his first car show away from home and my 900th so I hope to show him a good time from the eyes of a 6 year old.  He acts shy at first  but if you treat him like one of the guys and show him all the "cool stuff" he will lighten right up. (Maybe he gets that from me now that I think about it)

We ordered 10 year t-shirts, dinner tickets, and hotel rooms (i also have camping sites but that was before I knew about you guys)

Thanks Bruce for the 'invite'

I unfortunately need to bail on Carlisle. I have two huge international trips for work and have been trying to rearrange schedules with no avail. I am locking in for next year come hell or high water. I will be following along while in Japan and the following week in Switzerland.

If anyone needs or wants a pass let me know, I have #30. This absolutely kills me as I have been looking forward to meeting everyone.

So sorry to hear that Joe.  I was looking forward to meeting you in person finally.

Don't be surprised, but during Carlisle weekend this site is a ghost town.  Posts will be delayed a little.

Damn, that really blows the big one. Sandy and me were so looking forward to traveling with you this year.  Look at the bright side, now you'll make more money for more upgrades.  I'll take the sticker if no one needs it.  Mine is paid for but I need to go to the gate to pick up. I could give that one to someone else if needed.

Just finished the re-painting of the trailer (Pearl's "oyster bed").

I am now ready to meet all you'se "IM Folks" at Carlisle.......Even if your cars look suspiciously like a later version of "Pearl" (the one and only).

Joe - That sucks, Big Time.  I've been to both Japan and Switzerland many times.  Both highly over-rated compared to a weekend in South-Central PA with a bunch of like-minded knuckleheads.

Sure you don't want to reconsider??
