These guys smell worse than any fresh mowed green onion yard! Stays with you a H..L'va lot longer than any garlic you've eaten. I'll have some pickled ramp delicacies at Carlisle!

JUST A FEW WEEKS, FOLKS!!!!!!!

I was already charged Lane, now I'm really stoked, in the parlance of today.

Well, Wild Bill is doin' all the O-ficial countin', but looks like to me we will have a record crowd, cars and people too. Except for El Guapo -- who we will truly miss.

It is not too early for youse guys to get out the buckets and sponges and also to think about a fresh coat of wax and so on, so all will be shiny and bright come Sat AM on the showfield. And all of that is good as far as it goes, but also, how about we check on clutch cables and throttle cables too. Crawl under there and have a look. And does everybody have a spare one of each on board?. Don't worry about how to do an R&R since there will be plenty of help around. My recollection as that withing 60 sec of any sort of problem surfacing w/ any of the cars, there will be at least seven guys hovering around Pip watching him fix it. I'm just sayin' . . .

Are you referring to the hotel party room?

Not sure what you call it, but we came a tad late to the raffle last year and we could not get into the room. Maybe I was mistaken and once you got in there was still some room. That is just what I recall.

It is tough to get the "gratis" hospitality room that we do get and this year I was able to get it for Thursday night too.

Wild Bill doesn't need much room...just a quiet corner...

That explains it, Jeff Bridges was taking up two spaces:-)

There may have been a bit of a crowd at the doorway to the party room during the raffle last year. We had room farther inside so just push by those door hangers and come on in.

REVISED FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER DESTINATION

Due to the large response to the Friday evening cruise and dinner, we are changing our destination from the Rustic Tavern to the Legends Sports Bar & Grille in Mechanicsburg, PA. Legends is rolling out the red carpet and will provide reserved parking for all the "plastic fantastics" as well as offering a to-be-determined "special" and separate checks.

Some of the old timers may remember our old Friday night dinner spot, the All Star Sports Bar. The All Star closed and was boarded up a couple of years ago and we've been looking for a new location ever since. FYI, on a recent reconnaissance and planning trip HotFoot and I discovered it has reopened ----- as a beauty salon and health spa!!! Legends is a very similar venue to the All Star and I think everyone will be pleased with the change.

Stay tuned for further details.

Looks like a good choice, Bruce. Only 8 miles away from the hotel, right down old Route 11, good call.

Maybe I won't get lost on the way back this time. Maybe.

NEED A PA SYSTEM FOR THE SUNNYSIDE

Does anyone have a small public address system you can bring to Carlisle for the awards dinner at the Sunnyside restaurant Saturday evening? The restaurant used to have a system but the new owner no longer has it. The best we have been able to do is a rental for $150. Need your help.

Even a small guitar amp and mike will suffice ....anyone ?
