I wasnt sure we would come to Carlislie on Thursday so delayed in room reservations. I registed yesturday and found out that Thursday
rates were not available. Can any body help? Big differance beyween group rate and everything else. Thanks to the best extended family ever. John Estes

Great to hear you're joining us again! You should be able to get the same show rate on Thursday as you are getting Friday and Saturday - $112/night. At the top of this thread is a link to the hotel info thread. Check it out.

Thurs rate under our group name is the same as Fri, Sat nights Alan

That's what it's supposed to do. The link goes to the thread that gives all the hotel room information - rate, location, etc. - so people can make their reservations. Or did I not understand what you meant? Glad to hear you're joining us once again, we're anxious to see your new IM.

Even if you are unsure you should go ahead and register. You can always cancel.

I just got off the phone with Alan, here's the latest:

Thursday night:
20 rooms have been reserved, the block was bumped to 25 so 5 are still available in the block.

Friday night:
34 rooms have been reserved, 6 are still available in the block.
There are only 16 rooms left in the entire hotel beyond our block of 40.

Saturday night:
32 rooms have been reserved, 8 are still available in the block.
There are NO MORE rooms available in the entire hotel beyond our block of 40!

If you are coming to Carlisle, NOW is the time to make your reservations. As you can see by the lack of rooms Saturday night other people are booking rooms for the weekend. We did not increase the Friday night block because we believed people would not want to be jumping between hotels. Obviously, when the rooms are filled you will need to find alternate accommodations at several of the other hotels nearby.

I just got off the phone with Marriot Harrisburg/Mechanicsbury and they confirmed the Thursday rate at the group rate. Thanks go to Bruce and Allen "Dr Clock". The Savings will go to Golf Friday morning at Armitage course. Tom Manfredi and myself will be in attendace for Thursday nite Caddy Shack, Friday nite dinner and the
dinner on Saturday nite. Thank you again. John Estes

I'm having a senior moment, I can't remember whether Carlisle sends anything for registration and entry to the campgrounds. I do have a confirmation letter I printed with an Order Number. I do recall we have to stop at the little shack by the entry gates to sign in but don't recall if that's where we get the windshield sticker or if they mail it.

Giday, Nolan. I just got their reminder notice card to register in the mail yesterday. I'd forgotten about it and will get it done over the weekend. They said to call or check on line and get a "Gate and go" windshield sticker mailed to you ( still 10 bucks off ). I guess we get the phone number off their website..it's not shown on the card.

Nolan, you should get your sticker in the mail, Carlisle folks call it "Gate-and-go". I have done it that way the past couple of years and it is the way to go. If you put your sticker on at home, you can't forget it!

It must be the paint fumes, Nolan. Nothing to do with age. You should get it in the mail.
