Alan,
first it looks great.
Also, the finish on that paint job with the light angle looks like "digital gloss" out of photoshop.
Can't wait to see it in person.

A question about Thursday. Will we be have access to the grounds? Well some of the members be doing the set up of tents etc? Is help needed? I'm 30 minutes south of Carlisle and available all day Thursday to help with what ever.
I also have that big ole motorhome which is available if it would be a help to anyone. It also could be a "in the way deal" as well so I will not bring it unless there is some indication that it would be a benefit in some way. Alan what do you think?
Is it safe to leave the cars on the grounds over night?
CALLING HOSS AND WILD BILL!!!!!!!
Your anti-rain dance skills are needed pronto! Friday afternoon through Sunday is looking rather damp at the moment.
Tents are set up by Carlisle staff, Thursday access for Vendors and set up ....drop off . I have left cars covered overnight there. Cars arrive all afternoon at hotel ...come over.
Hi all,
It kills me to say this, but Michelle and I just found out that we have some family business we have to attend to this weekend. Nothing serious, but it has to be done. So sorry we'll miss you all this year, but we know it'll be a blast there. I'll be there in spirit (especially when you're all chowing-down on those egg samiches!) See you next year.
Rick
Rick and or others. I think maybe I should just stay at the Hotel complex rather then running back and forth? So if there are reservations made I'll just take your place and pay the tab or reimburse you as an individual. That way I'll be there and won't miss out on the after hours fun. I think Alan thinks that I should do this to be a better part of the group and to meet folks. Just seems like a reasonable thing to do. So how to proceed? Let me know.
I just cancelled my reservation so there should be a room available at the hotel right now.
I have rreluctantly decided to cancel my Carlisle adventure
for this year. Sarah and I just returned from a transatlantic
cruise and three day stay in London. We picked up a nasty
upper respiratory virus and it knocked us both for a loop. I
am heartbroken, but my decision was necessary. Have a great
time and hoist a couple for me. See you in 2016.
Hoss.
Note to Rich D. Send me the particulars for getting my
hoodie shipped. Thanks
OK, I've got reservations for 14,15 and 16
Gee Whizzzzz!!!! Who am I supposed to chase up the road this time???? You both take care and get well soonest....
Dang, Hoss! I hate to hear that you won't be making it this year. Hope you feel better soon. You and Nolan should hang out together on the weekend and hoist a few beers for a mini-Carlisle.
John H.: wise move. The hotel is THE place to be, no doubt. Thurs through SUnday. For the before party, then the party, then the after party, then . . . and so no having to drive to your bed, just stumble down the hall.
Hoss, WHAT AM I GONNA DO???? No hat picture this year? You gotta be serious. Hang around the house a few more days, get feeling better, then catch a plane to Harrisburg, we'll pick you up and drop you off. Oh man, gonna miss you and Nolan, and Geraldine, and . . .
John:
Sorry to hear you and Sarah are not that well. Hunker down and take care, and we will all see you next year.
Bob
Awww...sorry to hear the news, Hoss! We'll be thinking of you and hope you two feel better real soon. I just went through with that crud a few weeks ago. It socked the wind right outta me. See you in 2016!
~WB
Hoss, say it ain't so! Rest up you two and same time next year!
Thanks folks. It was a tough decision emotionally but easy from a practical standpoint. Between my crud, Nolan's recovery from septupple (right, 7) bypass and Steve Pritchard's competing professional event, there will be nary a SAS car present this year. What really irks me is that I had done the clay bar, tuned, refinished leather, replaced coolant hoses, new foot well carpet and new tires. I was ready to boogie. Holy CARP! I guess as a friend of ours says, "I guess it just wasn't meant to be".

Take a picture with our new photo stand-in at Import & Kit this weekend! Make sure to tag it with the hashtag #ILoveCarlisleEvents
The local TV station in Hershey is running a commercial for the Import Kit Car SPEEDSTER Show
........The first thing you see is Syl Mathis driving by in "Candy"!
Oh God! Now you've done it Alan. Syl is gonna have a big head now!
Pete
It had to be. You won't believe what I am getting paid for that appearance, and of course everyone knows that Candy is a total media whore.
Can we have it playing on the lobby tv?
That's it ! One of builds went over the block at Barrett Jackson and now.......
OMG, LOCAL TV..someone get me a big hat LOL
And at 23 seconds, there is a line of dune buggies going in. But wait, if you freeze it, it looks like Me, Lenny, Darcie, and Lane on the way out......you could see better if the weird dude on the dune buggy go-cart wasn't in the way!
It's here , it's here.......egg sandwich, good friends and cold beers !
I know it's a long shot, but I'll be pulling into Cranberry, PA tonight about 6:00pm for an overnighter and heading to Carlisle Thursday morning. Anyone in the neighborhood To join me for the last leg?
You guys enjoy yourself, see you next year. Ray
Ray.
I'll see you in Ottawa this summer, when I get my new wheels.
Bob, you might get your new wheels before me, ...not, honestly, it would be nice to see your new creation... Ray
So sorry Hoss to hear that you and Sarah are sick. Me and Steve always look forward to hanging out with you. I hope that you both recover quickly and get well soon!
