I don't object to being someone's "pal" but when you list my name I prefer "Paul."
Oooops, sorry about that, Paul. Sometimes these one-finger typers of mine get a little clumsy and hit or miss keys.

I'm still going to be there, but I am shuffling my accomodations plan around. So, before I just call the Marriott and cancel my room, if anyone is still interested in a King (single bed) room, Thursday, Friday and Saturday "dialogue" me so we could make the direct switcheroo with the Marriott. If I do not hear from anyone by Sunday evening, it's going back on the block. I'm going to make this offer on a first come first served basis.
RSVP received from:
Tom and Matt Buchanan - West Virginia
Thanks, Tom!
Bruce,
Please put Barbara and me down for all events at Carlisle. We have our reservation at the Marriot.
Right now we're in Israel visiting family and motorcycling in the desert so I'll send the check and paperwork as soon as I get home. Retirement is great!
Thanks for all your work.
Joel
FYI...my room reservation has been accepted and the offer above is no longer available.
Hey, Bruce,
Pencil me in as a single (unless Joel brings home a spiffy widowed relative!)
My reservations are at the Marriott. I'll fill out the RSVP and get a check to you
Joel and Carl,
Thanks for the heads-up, I'm watchig the mail.

Bruce et all; Sadly, I will have to pass on the shenanigans at this year's Carlisle gathering.
As most of you know, 10 years ago Ginny & I moved her elderly mother (Helen) from PA to SoCal to live with us so that we could give her a comfortable life in her waning years (she will be 100 y.o. in November).
Long story short, due to the status of Helen's health, we will stay close to home for the time being. I will surely miss re-connecting with my East Coast knucklehead SOC friends and will shoot for next year if conditions allow.
We hope to experience Carlisle 2014 vicariously through your posts, pictures and Sandy G's videos.
In our Avon boat tender cruising the marina with Ginny & Helen.
Sorry you won't be here, Jim, but you have your priorities right.
You will be greatly missed, Jim.
Family First...... We'll have you with us in thought and deed..... You do know some GOOD bail bondsmen don,t you?????
Jimbo!
Totally been there and fully understand.
She's 100, huh? Must come from some pretty strong stock, that lady.
Give her our best from all of us on here.
gn
I can't make it this year either Jim, but missing the event through your lens will be missed even more.
OMG, Carlisle with no Pineapplehead???? It won't be the same not having you to gab with over egg sammiches. But you are doing the right thing, as has been mentioned: Family first! Sarah and I will miss seeing you. She had a seat saved for Ginny in her Mustang for great adventures not show field-related, if she was interested. Blessings to your almost Centenarian mother and mother-in-law.
Sorry to hear of the change of plans. You're a good man, Jimbo.
Oh man, Jimbo we will sorely miss you this year. Carlisle without you is like Vince without his ( censored).
Sandy is going to be bummed. Godspeed Jimbo
Didn't mean to hi-jack this thread. Your thoughtful responses further cements my belief that a gear-head like me couldn't ask for a better group of guys (and gals) as friends!
Back to the Carlisle RSVP! Speedsters Meets Spyders gets better every year!
Good stuff. After watching your videos you were one of the guys I was hoping to meet. All the best from me here in Boston. Next year...
Jim, I would like to echo the other responses that Maggie and I will also miss your presence at the gathering.
