How can this be worth $250k? Complete I could almost see it, but a pile of funky looking parts... I just give up. The pricing on these things has surpassed all reason.

I think it's funny he kept writing that some of the parts were "og". where I come from "og" means Original Gangster which refers to an individual (regardless of criminal affiliation) who represents ideals the speaker sees as generally "tough" or "hood" in behavior, looks, or both as well as a connection to the past or being older.
He keeps using it to refer to "original".
To some of the VW folks I know it means "Original German."
Re. the value: No Moto, it's not worth anywhere near that. 
"OG" is "original German" in VW circles but "Original Gangster" in LA hood circles? This, to me, offers a wonderful setup for a comedy skit involving Southern California subculture overlap.
