When I start up my type one 2110 after sitting for a week I get a fine mist of oil tracking the floor behind and just below the single exhaust pipe. Is this something to be concerned with?

Doesn't  seem to be using oil as level stays relatively constant to the full mark on the dip stick and power seems to still be good. I would check the compression if it wasn't so hard to get to the plugs.

I don't think it's oil. It's more than likely condensation that gets blackened by the dirty interior of your exhaust. How do I know this? When I first bought my car I was wearing a nice pair of white dockers and brilliantly stood behind my car showing off my engine. I reached in and revved it up and the exhaust belched out black all over my pants. I was pissed.

I had the same thing happen to me Rusty except I wasn't dressed to go golfing in Palm Springs when it spit on me. I was wearing my "working in the garage pants" so it didn't matter.
