I ordered these for my 911 and decided to go another route (classic RS style instead). These are knockoffs of the Cobra Milano seat. I paid near $300 for both shipped to me so they are being offered up for $200 plus shpg if anyone here wants em.

They aren't speedster seats but I thought I'd throw them up here to see if anyone here had an interest.

Sum-beach! I just spent $525 on getting two 914 seats redone for my street buggy project~
Mickey-
Last winter, we were shopping for seats for my son's Miata, and those Milano copies were mighty tempting at $289, but wouldn't fit in the car (early Miata's are very narrow).
We ended up with a set of Sparcos for about 3x the money, but I always thought those seats were really cool for the price.
They're a screaming deal at $200.

Do you know if they fit in a Vintage speedster without difficulty?
My seat fix was to use the orioginal Vintage fiberglass shells. I substituted the bottom seat cushions from a Porsche 914. Solves all the problems I was having with the VS seats. Not they are super comfortable.
As far as them fitting in a Vintage, I don't know? I can 'test' fit them in my car and take a pic for you, yes? My initial thoughts would be that they'll be tight in the shoulder area. Thats part of the reason I decided to go with the ol skool RS style seat in my 911 instead of these. They're wide in the upper back rest area. I'll measure the widest part for you. Depending on what look you're going for they may work out.
Mickey:
Also measure across the frame on the bottom where they mount to the floor and let us know that dimension. Depending on that dimension and whether they might fit your VS, I might be interested, too.

Mickey,
What kind of adjustments do they have? Do they lean back?

I'm thinking they would make great chairs if bases were built, especially with wheels.
Sorry. I've been draggin my ass on this, working, etc....
Bruce,
Yes, they do recline. They have the typical knob adjustment on the base of the back rest. They also tilt forward with the flip of a bar across the back of the rear seat pad. They're actually not bad seats, I just decided to go a different route or I'd of kept them.
I promise I'll get measurements posted tomorrow.

OK, I didn't do the "arrow on the picture" thing but I hope these measurements give the info needed.
Top of backrest to bottom of seat cushion is 35"
Widest part of the backrest side to side is 23"
Widest part of seat cushion side to side is 20"
Narrowest part of seat cushion (under side) is 16" (as per Gordons request- "Also measure across the frame on the bottom where they mount to the floor and let us know that dimension." )
Width from mounting bracket holes side to side is 14 3/8"
Feel free to contact me if you aren't clear or have any other questions.

Cory and I would TOTALLY be interested ... but somehow I don't think they'd fare well in our all-weather situation ... DARN!
If I were closer I'd pick them uop but the shipping would likely be more than the seats.

I already bought(last fall) a NICE pair of black leather Boxster seats for my 911, otherwise I'd take them. They look really nice.
Seats are sold to a local buyer. I think the shipping scared some folks away. I was getting some pretty crazy quotes to ship which kinda offset the "deal" on the seats.
