Had a great day sprinting the Speedster with the local Porsche club in the weekend. The little 1915 sure held it's own, it just needed a little more than skinny hard tires and stock suspension to match it. As it was I was not planning on taking the Speedster but had no choice as I blew a turbo oil seal in the Spyder the eveing before whilst upping the boost. But man was it fun, I have never seen the tacho at 5500rpm in 4th before with some to go! If you have a chance then go for it, gives you an idea of the limits of the car in a controlled situation (well sort of) and it's a lot of fun! I'm doing it again......soon.

It's required to have a secondary form of bonnet latching for sprinting so I thought I might as well make it period looking. They are actually dog collars with stainless steel end caps..hahaha.
I have had a custom set made as per the originals for the Spyder but cost a bomb! Check out www.fibersteel.com for plenty of good repro stuff.
