I'd rather have a Speedster in Gulf livery, and you know how much I dislike that.
Just what I know of Darrell Zip, a very talented car builder going way back. He is widely known in the Hot Rod circle and has built everything from salt flat racers to award winning Hot Rod and Motorcycles. He was the owner of Zipper Motors and designed many types of fiberglass bodied over the years, mainly hot rods. This was the first example of his work in the Spyder replica area that I have seen. Looks cool to me and with his input on this its done right. Should make someone very happy. Plus he is a cool guy !!
I'm sure the quality of the build is good. But to me, it looks like what a zit-faced teenage boy might doodle in a notebook.
Too many scoops, that one thing ruins it for me. It's too big, and the proportions are all wrong.
Based on a Perry Spyder, which is only a loose approximation of a 550, and not my favorite.

It looks like that megabucks aluminum 547-like one that was made in Europe??
The ad says it's a one-of-a -kind.
